Originally opening in 2006 with a portion of a 1995 building still in use, Altman + Barrett worked with the Colquitt County School system to expand the existing structure. Altman + Barrett added an additional wing of classrooms. a library, and an expansion to the existing cafeteria, as well as renovations to the older buildings. This allowed the school to house the remaining sixth and seventh grade students as the school began to expand.
